This Vega Warrior II helmet is the best one I found out of about ten I tried on. I wear a large and it fits great but the adjustment dial device on back makes it a perfect fit. If I had more hair, I would have needed to go up a size. The optically correct sun visor people complain about touching their nose actually keeps the wind from getting under the helmet and blowing your head back. It easily stays in place if you choose not to use the visor and also accommodates eyeglasses if you wear them. The helmet is lightweight, not bulky or odd looking, and meets DOT safety requirements. It's the only helmet I need!Nothing to dislike. Sharp helmetAwesome helmet for a great priceI have owned a Warrior helmet for several years. It is starting to stink and the little pad on the back by the adjuster has come off and there is no way to get a replacement (more on that in a second). So I went looking for a new helmet and came across the "updated" version of the Warrior, the II. Graphics are slightly updated, and it looks OK. The fit is the same, and the ratchet closure is carried over to this version along with the rear adjuster. All good things. Also updated is the comfort material that covers the rear adjuster... no longer a velcroed piece of foam, it now is a large piece of padded fabric that wraps all the way around the adjuster. Vast improvement. But that's it... the rest is bad, really bad. The drop down visor is still too low in the nose bridge area and will hit most everyone in the bridge of the nose... dumb. Also, one of the biggest selling points was that it had a removable liner!!! One that could be removed and washed. Exceeeepppttt.... the snaps are so poorly designed that they won't let go and eventually the snap anchors just pull out of the styrofoam. So now I have a brand new helmet with busted styrofoam. No biggie, I'll just call Vega (whom I bought directly from) and get an RMA started. Nope... 3 calls unanswered, 2 emails to the address on the voicemail box and 1 email to the customer service email box from their website, all unanswered. How can I get this fixed if I can't even get an RMA? Oh and the one time I was able to get them to answer the phone (before I ordered this helmet), they told me that they would email me to get my address so they could send me replacement pads for my first Warrior helmet. Surprised to hear that I never got that email? Looks like I may have to dispute the charge with my CC company to get any satisfaction. I like the helmet OK, but Vega is terrible to work with.
