This was a great little hat for my son as a baby to keep the sun off of his head in the summer. It is a nice, water resistant (not completely water proof) fabric and the print is cute, especially for a little boy. I like that the rim goes all the way around the hat so that his shoulders and neck are protected somewhat too. What was also nice is that we bought it for him when he was four months old and it fit him until he was over a year old! So it lasted a long time (and it still looks brand new). It didn't fade or anything from the sun and weather. The ties are convenient for older babies who like to pull hats off! Overall, it was a great hat and we are saving it for any future children that we have.This hat fits my son's head well, and does an awesome job of protecting his head and face from the sun. We have this hat in a small and he has almost outgrown it so we ordered a medium too. My only complaint is that the material isn't very breathable. We live in Florida and he wears this hat on the boat and at the beach. Every time I take it off of him his head is super sweaty. He doesn't seem to mind but I wish it had a little more breathability. It washes in the washing machine well and dries quickly if it gets wet while playing. The colors haven't faded yet (it's been washed at least ten times) and the fact that it's reversible is a nice feature.I had been looking for a new sun hat for my little girl but it seemed like all the stores I went to didn't have her size and when they did, were a little too pricey. I guess I must be frugal because I think it's crazy to spend $18 and up for a baby hat for a 9 month old when I can buy her one or two outfits for the same price. Anyway, I turned to Amazon and found this hat. I love that it's comfortable, washes well, gives good coverage from the sun, looks super cute and has long ties ( her last hat that I bought from Target fit her head but the ties were so short that I had to cut them off).Fits perfect and it’s a great product to protect my little one from the sun. I love how easy is to wash and how pretty it looks. Fits as expected and has room for baby growth. Material is soft and didn’t lose shape or texture after washing, I would definitely recommend this item.I really love this hat's design and pattern. It is not so large that it droops over my toddlers face (2.5yrs) but it does a good job at covering her face and back of neck. She really likes the whale pattern and I like that it dries quickly after getting wet from the pool or sprinkler.I love the versatility of this hat. It works or a boy or girl, and the white goes with everything. I've used it on sunny days and windy days for mystery bald-headed baby. The tie is a nice touch and we can't wait to use it at the beach in a few weeks! I feel like it has just enough fabric for a sun and wind shield, but not too much to make baby's head hot. It also has a nice wide brim to cover babies shoulders.This is a very functional hat. I purchased a smaller size previously which I often use to take my baby for walks. As he is outgrowing it, I decided to buy a bigger one which I'm sure he will also love. The material is soft and I just toss in the washing machine. The color hasn't faded nor did it shrink in size.This hat is adorable on our son. It definitely has to be double knotted or he can undo the ties pretty easily. I don't like the appearance of the tagw hen it is reversed to the blue, so we keep it to just the shark side. Definitely keeps the sun out of his eyes, though!
