the blue stripe on this hat is cute cute and i love that it's all cotton and has a nice brim but not too J.Lo floppy big. think the cotton will breathe well for my sweaty little guy and plan on throwing in the wash whenever.the hat fit snugly on my 11 mo son. he's 75 percentile for head circumference so i guess if your little person has a smaller head than that, this would run truer to size but we returned the 12 mo in exchange for the 18 mo size. the 18 mo is just a little big but fits fine with the ties tied.My baby has a very small head. He is 8 weeks old and this hat (0-3 month size), fits pretty well. He will grow into it, but it is wearable now. He loves being outside and this allows him to open his eyes and look around without being blinded by sun. He also seems to not mind the hat and he isn't a fan of the stocking cap style of hats. Oh and did I mention its adorable?! Only wish it came in solid colors instead of only stripes. Hard to match it with any of his outfits. Overall great product though!Such a great hat! Not only is it adorable, but it is very functional and keeps your baby protected. It stays on well and is just enough coverage. When trying to decide what sunhat to get my baby girl the sizing was the most difficult part. I purchased this hat for my two month old daughter. She is about 9 lbs. and it fit loosely, but still fit well enough to wear and she has plenty of room to grow into it. The strap is also very helpful and I appreciated that the sizing was accurate. A great purchase!This hat has been great for my newborn to get out in the sun a bit without being blinded. The product and color are true to the picture. It is a 0-3 months and we haven't tried it for a long period of outdoors so if that is your goal then I'm not sure how it would work. We like to go out in the sun for about 15-20 minute increments and then sun in the eyes while letting my daughter still see was the our goal. We are very happy with this little hat.My newborn son and I take a lot of walks together, and my favorite way to carry him as in a Moby Wrap. I'm always nervous that his little face is going to get burnt. At only a month old he is too young for sunscreen. This hat protects his scalp and face from the sun and looks adorable in the process. It fits him well enough now at 4 weeks, and will easily fit him through the rest of the summer.Love how soft this hat is and appreciate that the interior is lined in even softer jersey with finished seams. Definitely is on the smaller side, which was nice because so many hats were too big at first, but also means that it will be outgrown quickly. If the brim were a little larger, I would have given it 5 stars.Super cute hat! My only complaint is that I think it runs just a little small so my baby won't be able to wear it for long.Like the strap to hold it on; works well for the 0 - 3 months (maybe last longer for smaller babies). Wish the brim were a little wider, but it does keep out most of the sun.soft,love it
