This protector of sun & weather elements is a well designed tool for the outdoors. What I like best about it, is it can be creatively manipulated for multiple purposes, not just being attached to the vehicle. Beautiful color, too.Once you get it all unpacked from its very small and quite heavy bag it’s quite simple to set up, once you realize what goes where.Takes some practice, but our test run had it up in 10 minutes perfect. The only issue was getting the tent poles for the top to actually go into the bottom pockets. But that’s because it’s new and needed to stretch.Dry test. We knew we had some rain coming when we were done so it was tested in a small amount of rain.Aside from the rain coming directly at us sometimes due to the wind, the sides kept us dry.At camp it’s used for shade, cover, and my tent during spring and summer. Take the poles down and it turns into a neat little shelter. And with some SUVs you don’t need the back up to get it to stay, but it does help.Caught in the rain multiple times. We were still able to enjoy meals and we also played card games while it was raining! This product came with no instructions i don’t know why. It was hard to put up only because there was no instructions.Provides shade. Good price. The sides that drop down are annoying and were immediately rolled up.The way it is packed, most will not repack it all back in the bag unless they put the poles and stakes in a separate bag or just use the bag for poles and stakes.Bag is thin with small zipper so if you get aggressive its ripping for sure.10mph wind is about max for this thing. We were in a sailboat cove in baja and one of the tips broke off the pole that supports it at and. Sailors estimated 10-15mph winds at that time. I fixed it with a nail.A more durable and larger bag that somebody could pack it up quickly would be nice to have. I ended up using a tool bag to put it away as shown.Removing the side flaps from both sides so it might fit back in the bag "easily" it came in might be a good option that I may trim it up.This canopy is awesome. I haven’t experienced rain yet with it so I don’t know how it does with rain but it blocks the sun. I like how you can fold the sides up or leave them down for more privacy or protection if it’s raining. The material is kinda thin and when it was very windy I had to place rocks on top so it wouldn’t blow away while I was putting it up. The rocks ripped the material very easily but the company was great and sent me a replacement even tho it was beyond 30 days. Very good customer service!Set up can be a little difficult with one person but it can be done. Just set your stake before youPut up the poles. Lots of shade
