So learn from my mistakes. I previously bought a pressure washer that was purported to be 3800 PSI, 2.8 GPM and blah, de-blah, blah, blah. Generally speaking, you're not going to get that much out of an electric pressure washer. They all say the "max" pressure they're rated for, not the typical pressure they operate under. That is a key point - the *could* handle 3800 psi, but the motor/system is only strong enough to handle much, much less. This has a lot to do with the fact that outlets in the US basically don't put out more 15 amps / 1800 Watts. Tech is always improving, but it's hard to get that much power out of a electric pressure washer, so ignore the hype. Generally speaking, you can max out around 2000 psi. Frankly that's more than enough for most typical homeowner stuff. Now about this pressure washer specifically...They tell the truth. The description says it can handle up to 2030 psi, but a typical working load is 1450 psi. As you can see from the picture, it still does the job, just fine. I was not looking forward to cleaning my deck for staining, but this little pressure washer does the job well. Got the whole deck done in about 1 hour with the 15 degree attachment. Assembly is easy and use and it's dead simple to use. The only thing I find irritating about it is that storage of all the cables and tubes is not well though out. There is this weird hook thing on the side that's supposed to hold the pressure washer hose, but you have to detach the hose to use it effectively. Me, and I'm guessing 99% of people leave it attached to the pressure washer. The electric cable is similarly cumbersome. Just know, the neat storage pictures on the site are misleading. It's kind of a mess to store. Even so, value / effectiveness / ease of operation, I am pretty satisficed with my purchase.I used this power washer to clean the driveway, and the underside of the lawnmower deck. With this or any power washer the air needs to be purged out of the hose before the machine will work properly. I like the quick connect nozzles.I assembled and put the Sun Joe SPX300 through it's paces today. I cleaned a small front porch area, a truck, a car, and then pressure washed my 1 story house's eaves, overhangs and trim in preparation for painting. The pressure washer stood up to several hours of use without missing a beat. So far I'm very impressed and happy with this purchase. I hope it lasts a long time!Would I purchase this again. As of right now that's a definite yes.Would I recommend it to other's. Another definite yes.Once the power cord and sprayer hose have been used, there’s no great place to wrap them up and store/hang on the unit. The only thing I’d change about this unit would be having a longer hose. I primarily use it for washing my car paired with a foam cannon. It also has enough power to clean my sidewalks, siding, patio furniture, etc. This a very versatile machine and I’d definitely recommend it to others.Great product for the money. I think assembly instructions could be improved. Add picturesEasy to assemble. I liked the fact the motor turned off when you let off the trigger. Unfortunately, it did not have the power I thought it would unless you were right up on the fence or steps. Big disappointment. Unless you want it to clean just light dirt? This unit is made better than the last one I bought from a different brand.I haven't used many other electric pressure washers but this must be the best in it's class for ~$200CAD. Its super light too. Very high pressure and works great with foam cannon. Very portable due to light weight and it's pretty compact. I didn't care for the detergent slots and took them out. Only complaint is that sunjoe doesn't disclose what any of the connection sizes are. Look on reddit and it's easy to upgrade the hose and handle. The pump itself works awesome though. Upgrade to 50ft hose is necessity reason for 4 stars is because the 25ft hose is too short, you can only use the spraygun with the 1.5ft wand on it, and the power cable is super long with no nice spot for storage. Still best in its class for the price in my opinion.First impressions, is that looks really good, I like the 2 soup tanks that you can easily select each one you want to use.not very noisy, the pressure looks ok, I dont have another one weaker to compare yet to see if goes all the way it advertise.BUT there is one thing that was really badly designed, which is the water hose connector, that thing is just a nightmare to attach and remove, leaks water all the time, if you touch you will problem take a shower while doing it.I will try couple of more times but so far that has been a bummer and totally annoying to work with. There are soo many smart connector for water hose that could have been used in this project to make life easier and leak proof.will add some videos late, but if the leaks continue for the next couple of usages, I am returning it. Could be just a defect or could be just a bad design. but regardless the connector design is very bad.Leaking Hose Connector made my purchase the SPX 3000 a waste of my time and potentially a waste of my money. After assembling the pressure washer with all the attachments I connected a garden hase to the SPX 3000 unit a turned the water on and the hose connector leaked a lot. There was no missing rubber seal inside the hose connector. The hose connector attachment was clearly defective right out of the box.I called Sun Joe for a replacement part and the Sun Joe representative told me that the hose connector attachment was on back order and the representative had no idea when they could send me a replacement part. Rediculous !. I soon as I heard I couldn't get my defective part replaced quickly I promptly sent my SPX 3000 back to Amazon for a full refund. It's bad enough I was sent a leaking pressure washer to start with. The fact that Sun Joe couldn't rectify the situation by promptly sending me a replacement hose connector attachment is nonsense.Make sure you save the original box the unit came in because within 30 days of receiving the unit you may need the box to return the pressure washer to Amazon.Needless to say I don't recommend this product..We’ll see how long it lasts, but picked this up for under $200 on Prime Day and used it recently for the first time. It’s perfectly adequate for around the house jobs, washing car, etc. I used it to strip old stain off a wooden patio set and it did a pretty good job with the 15 degree nozzle. Given the price, I think it’s a great value. I do think the way it’s advertised as a 2050 max psi washer is a bit deceiving as the box states normal operating around 1450 psi. Again, I think it’s enough for my needs, but feel like that should be more clear. Overall happy with it though.I run a not for profit animal shelter so every penny counts. This power washer has saved cleaning time, uses less water water than other machines so saves drying time. More powerful than expected and it doesn't use much degreaser but still get the floors nice and clean. The only downside is the water hose connection- it leaked so I tightened it and just left the hose permanently attached. Very easy to use highly recommend.
